Bridging is now easier than ever before
December 5th, 2008
Applying for bridging finance with the wrong bridging partner can be a hassle, to say the least. Now BFASA (Bridging Finance Association of South Africa), together with Korbitec, the provider of GhostConvey, is in the process of developing a bridging finance solution that will simplify and shorten this process dramatically.
The solution, called BridgingCentral, is a direct electronic interface between the attorney’s conveyancing system and the bridging finance company. To start, attorneys have to select their preferred bridging finance company on BridgingCentral (we recommend Quince Property Finance, of course). Then, the conveyancing secretary simply inserts the amount of the loan application and the system will extract all the required information from Ghostconvey. The application is then automatically sent to the bridging finance company. No more manual inputting, no more human error!
This will result in: less effort for the conveyancing secretary, increased turnaround times, improved accuracy and above all - an excellent client experience.
BridgingCentral will have sufficient security to ensure confidentiality and to prevent fraud, lowering the risk of liability for the attorney involved. It also calculates the outstanding balance on date of registration and will prompt the attorney for payment.
This exciting project is already in the final testing phase and should be up and running by the end of January 2009. We hope that all of you are as excited about this evolution in the bridging finance industry as we are.
Remember to activate Quince Property Finance on BridgingCentral as your preferred bridging finance company. And please contact us if you need any further help or information.
