HAPPY HOLIDAYS!Hello and welcome to the last edition of The Bridge for 2008. There is no doubt that this year has been a turbulent one indeed, which is why we’ve included a must-read overview of the economy and interest rate forecasts for the New Year. We are also proud to introduce a new section called “Jean’s tips” which is filled with useful advice on how to make your bridging even easier. So until we meet again in 2009, the Quince Property Finance team would like to thank you for all your support. We wish you, your families and colleagues all the blessings of the Festive Season. PS: our offices will be open for business during the holidays.
Dewaal Basson ALWAYS LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDEThe world has changed a lot over the last year and is continuing to change around us. We have a world economy under pressure, a new world leader in the form of US president elect Barack Obama and a rapidly changing political environment in SA. These changes bring with them a combination of fear and hope. Although as individuals we cannot necessarily change the broader economic and political environment we can change our reaction to the changes. We can choose to focus on the fear or choose to rejoice knowing that with change comes hope and an opportunity for growth. We at Quince have taken a positive approach and are actively looking for ways to improve our service offering and also to expand our product range. As such, as our partners and lead providers, your suggestions, advice and complaints are invaluable to us. Email De Waal at dewaalbasson@quince.co.za. RELAXING IN THE COUNTRY

JEAN’S TIPSAlthough Jean is the leader of the Quince Credit Team, those who know her think of her more as a sounding board for new ideas and a source of good advice. Which is why we’ve asked Jean to jot down some tips on how to make your interaction with Quince even easier. TIP: Most conveyancing firms close a little earlier on a Friday so if you are sending through an Application form - please do so as early as possible. If you have any questions or tips that you’d like to share with us, email Jean on jeanvisser@quince.co.za. |
